About Client

Pratham Youth Community (PYC) is a youth-driven organization based in Gujarat, impacting over 100,000 students through internships, mentorship programs, networking events, and community initiatives. It aims to empower the next generation by creating opportunities for growth, connection, and real-world exposure.

Objective

Backed by a strong offline ecosystem, PYC aimed to expand its presence digitally to improve accessibility and convenience for Gen Z users. The objective was to design a unified mobile platform that integrates multiple needs into a single, seamless experience for personal and professional growth.

Insight

Gen Z does not struggle with access to platforms, but with fragmentation across them. Opportunities, connections, and communities exist but in isolation, making discovery inefficient and engagement shallow.

The approach was to bring these disconnected experiences into a single ecosystem, where users can not only access resources, but also find like-minded people and build meaningful connections in one place.

🎯 Strategy & Approach

1. Structure

The project began with defining the overall ecosystem of the platform. With multiple interconnected modules opportunities, mentorship, communities, and events, the focus was on creating a structure that allows users to navigate seamlessly without feeling overwhelmed.


Mind mapping and information architecture played a key role in organizing features, defining relationships between modules, and establishing clear navigation paths. This helped translate a complex set of requirements into a scalable and intuitive system.

2. Wireframes

Once the structure was established, high-fidelity wireframes were developed to validate usability and refine user flows. The focus was on ensuring clarity across different user journeys whether discovering opportunities, joining communities, or connecting with mentors.


This stage helped identify gaps, simplify interactions, and ensure that the experience remained intuitive despite the platform’s functional depth.

3. Interface

The final interface was designed to balance clarity with engagement, creating an experience that feels approachable yet structured. Visual hierarchy, clean layouts, and consistent interaction patterns were used to make navigation effortless across modules.


Interactive prototypes were developed to simulate real usage, allowing seamless transitions between features and providing a realistic representation of the final product experience.
