Overview
Istana is a private enclave of luxury villas located amidst the scenic Gangapur Dam Backwaters, Girnare, Nashik. The project combines premium villa ownership with curated lifestyle experiences and end-to-end property management services.
The goal was to create a website that felt less like a traditional property portal and more like a luxurious digital escape allowing users to experience the atmosphere, exclusivity, and lifestyle associated with Istana while understanding the ease of ownership offered by the brand.
Objective
The objective was to design a premium digital experience that communicated three key aspects seamlessly:
Position Istana as a luxury lifestyle destination rather than a standard villa project
Showcase experiences and activities that elevate everyday living
Highlight effortless ownership through services like property management, rental support, financing assistance, and design consultation
The website needed to create emotional appeal while still driving users toward ownership decisions.
Approach
The experience was designed around storytelling rather than direct selling.
The user journey focused on introducing visitors to the world of Istana through spacious layouts, immersive imagery, and minimal yet elegant content structures that reflected the calm and luxurious nature of the brand.
Instead of treating experiences as supporting elements, activities such as bird watching, boating, wine tasting, cycling, kayaking, cave expeditions, hiking, and stargazing were integrated as lifestyle moments throughout the journey.
The ownership aspect was strategically introduced through dedicated sections around personalized property management and value-added services, helping users understand that owning an Istana villa extends beyond purchasing a property.
The proposed direction aligned strongly with the client's expectations and was approved in the very first presentation.
